“FREECOAST” is a movement and conversation launched by artist and creative director .idk. (head of Tridot Design Studio). It seeks to bring awareness to Cape Coast, Ghana, and Freetown, Sierra Leone -- two cities that carry historic components of trans-atlantic slavery. The mission employs elements of racing (e.g. F1 racing) as the ‘canvas’ to initiate open dialogue about race relations. F65 is the centerpiece of FREECOAST, an album written by .idk.
